Holiday Safety Tips
The holiday season brings increased fire and security risks. Protect your business and home this season.
No matter how you celebrate this season, safety comes first. Keep candles and heaters away from anything flammable. Inspect light cords before use, and test smoke and CO detectors regularly. Turn off decorations when you leave or go to bed, and double-check locks, cameras, and alarms before traveling.
If you’re hosting events or guests, keep exits and hallways clear: Ensure fire extinguishers, pull stations, and exits are accessible.
Looking Ahead - Smarter Systems, Stronger Protection
2026 brings exciting upgrades in automation, fire alarm, security, and video surveillance technology!
As we look ahead to 2026, the commercial fire alarm and security industry continues to show robust growth and innovation, driven by customer demand for smarter, more connected safety solutions.
The global commercial security systems market – encompassing fire protection, access control, and video surveillance – is projected to expand significantly, with estimates suggesting growth from roughly USD 222 billion in 2025 to over USD 381 billion by 2030, at a CAGR of about 11.4%, as organizations invest in cloud-enabled management, real-time monitoring, and integrated platforms.
Meanwhile, the fire protection systems market is forecast to reach approximately USD 118 billion by 2030, driven by urbanization, stringent safety codes, and the adoption of IoT-enabled and AI-assisted detection technologies.
Within fire alarm systems specifically, advanced IoT-enabled and AI-driven devices are growing rapidly, with smart detectors and cloud connectivity becoming standard expectations for commercial customers seeking improved response times and remote diagnostics.
This evolution reflects broader industry trends toward integrated fire, access, and security solutions that enhance operational efficiency and compliance while meeting rising expectations for proactive threat detection and facility safety.
